At Goldstrike Enterprises, we aim for total transparency. This policy outlines your legal rights for cancellations and returns for all online orders placed via goldstrikeenterprises.co.uk.
- Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
For most online orders, you have a statutory legal right to change your mind:
- Notification Period: You must inform us of your intent to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods.
- Return Period: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the items.
- Extended 30-Day Policy: For unwanted items that are completely unopened and in their original factory-sealed packaging, we voluntarily extend the return notification period to 30 days from the date of delivery.
- Return Conditions
- Handling: You are permitted to handle goods only to the same extent you would in a physical shop (e.g., inspecting the exterior of a box).
- Deductions: Under UK law, we reserve the right to reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by “unreasonable” handling. Note: Opening a factory-sealed trading card box or pack is considered unreasonable handling and will result in a significant deduction.
- Shipping Costs: Unless an item is faulty, you are responsible for return shipping costs. If you cancel within the 14-day statutory window, we will refund the cost of the item plus our standard outbound delivery charge.
- Exclusions
In accordance with UK consumer law, the right to cancel does not apply to:
- Unsealed Goods: Trading card products, “single” cards, or media where the factory seal has been broken, as these are susceptible to price volatility and content tampering once opened.
- Personalised Items: Any products custom-made or altered to your specific specifications.
- Refund Processing
- Timeline: We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or receiving evidence that they have been sent (e.g., a valid proof of postage receipt), whichever is sooner.
- Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at checkout.
- Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose:
- Short-Term Right to Reject: You are entitled to a full refund if you report the fault within 30 days of receiving the item.
- After 30 Days: If a fault develops after 30 days (but within 6 months), we will first offer a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is not possible, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
- Sealed Product Issues: For cards found to be damaged inside a factory-sealed product, please contact us at contact@goldstrikeenterprises.com immediately with photos to arrange a resolution.
- Pre-Order Cancellations
You may cancel any pre-order for a full refund at any time before the item has been dispatched. To ensure 2026 pricing transparency, if our advertised price decreases before the dispatch date, we will automatically refund the difference via your original payment method.
